1911
This is mostly a 1911 EB article. I see that someone has put a cleanup tag on it. I remind whoever takes this on that the 1911 EB is a citable source, and that if you are trying to NPOV this, it's OK to quote the 1911 EB directly for its opinions. -- Jmabel | Talk 02:30, 1 November 2005 (UTC)
- I put a cleanup-tag on this, because the article dumps all information it has in one big section, rather than splitting it out over a few sections. It is easier on the eye and makes it better readable. NPOV was not an issue with this topic. -- SoothingR 06:49, 1 November 2005 (UTC)

Tone of article
This article reads like an adoring obituary of the man and clearly does not meet Wikipedia's standards for an objective encyclopedic style. It should be rewritten entirely. 128.227.38.217 (talk) 05:41, 10 April 2022 (UTC)
