Cossacks?

Albazinians are not Cossacks. They are just Orthodox Chinese of maybe-Cossack origin. No need to include them into tha same group with Don, Kuban and other Cossacks.--133.41.84.206 07:36, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality

There are no neutrality concerns, as far as I can see. The article does not identify the Albazinians as modern-day Cossacks, although they are mentioned in the Cossack-related referenced books as such. I don't really care about the category and template, but it may be worth pointing out that neither the category nor template is supposed to list only modern-day Cossacks. Their purpose is to bring together a range of Cossack-related topics. There is no doubt that this article qualifies as Cossack-related. --Ghirla^-трёп- 19:27, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Seconded. Currently the category:Cossacks contains quite various topics related to Cossacks. e.g., shashka. Categories are navigation tools, to quickly browse a topic. When the number of articles in a category becomes too large, some enthusiasts may spawn subcategpries, such as category:Military organization of Cossacks or category:Cossack people or smth. else. `'Míkka 18:59, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Its looks like including all Ukranians to Cossacks category only because some of them are the offsprings of the Cossacks. Albazinians are not Cossacks in any way.--Alex Kov 14:49, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Albazinian Orthodox Bishop

He was Albazinian in origin, but he was either Russian Orthodox (by baptism and training) or Chinese Orthodox (in 1956 the Patriarch of Moscow granted autonomy to the Chinese Orthodox Church. I suggest the title of the photo be changed to something like Symeon Runchen Du, Chinese Orthodox Bishop of Albazinian origin or Symeon Runchen Du, Albazinian Chinese Orthodox Bishop.--Richardson mcphillips (talk) 00:05, 13 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
