Mistakes

"the Pro Grab was first executed by a rider named Andy "The Viper" Jackson in 1934 at his local pipe."

Wow, that was quite a while ago! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Frosheekeksi (talkcontribs) 19:51, 27 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Trick suggestions

We're going to keep all trick suggestions to this section before putting them in. Make sure to not only describe the trick but CITE SOURCES as well. --Liface 09:57, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I'll add this.. Not that important, but it helps! Dreadnought9 07:56, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

n00b support?

For me (and, I strongly suspect, any of us who have no understanding of the jargon of skateboarding), this page as written is virtually unintelligible. For example, there are many references to something called an "ollie" (or "ollying"), but I have no idea who or what an Ollie is and this page does not enlighten me. I originally visited this page to figure out what the heck a "McTwist" is, having heard the term repeatedly on TV broadcasts, but the entry on McTwist, though nominally English, is incomprehensible to me as it stands (i.e. without a thorough understanding of the jargon). I'd really like someone who both a) understands skateboarding well and b) has a thorough grasp of non-jargonized English to clean this up so that folks like me can understand it. beerslayer (talk) 03:58, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is the serial trick section. Try skateboard tricks, or sth. more basic than this. There you'll be enlightened ;) KhlavKhalash (talk) 13:50, 14 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Snowboarding?

Should snowboarding be included in this article? Such as Sawn White's McTwist 1260? --Tacit tatum (talk) 21:23, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Pro Grab

The 'Pro grab' doesn't exist and it's likely vandalism. --191.113.208.40 (talk) 23:04, 6 December 2017 (UTC)donwea[reply]

Melancholy

In 20 years of skateboarding i never heard that term. Got to it from the band Millencolin. The melon i heard of, of course. KhlavKhalash (talk) 13:52, 14 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A quick Google search returns several independent results using the term "melancholy" in reference to the Melon Grab. -- JascaDucato (talk | contributions) 15:56, 14 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
