adefovir vs. adefovir dipivoxil

Drug infobox data are for adefovir dipivoxil, shouldn't be the page therefore renamed to Adefovir_dipivoxil to have the correct automatic name in infobox ? It should be also mentioned, that the dipivoxil is a prodrug, which is metabolised to adefovir itself in body. Mykhal 17:47, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I would support that rename (but it does not seem WP practice). Article should at least be clear that it is all/mostly talking about the dipivoxil form, and should confirm if only the dipivoxil form is licenced/approved eg by FDA. - Rod57 (talk) 00:53, 15 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
