Giant Viruses

I tried to extend that paragraph a little and add bolded text but I failed, _ does not seem to mean bold nor does **  :( 84.112.136.52 (talk) 16:41, 23 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

On a sidenote, it would be nice if we could link in some more electron microscope images of these viruses as they attach to Acanthamoeba.

Introduction

I believe the introduction could use some more information. A few ideas...

It mentions the size of the trophozoite, but nothing more. If it mentions the size of the trophozoite, it should also mention the size of the cyst. And what these terms mean in relation to the life cycle for the acanthamoeba.

I would also include more about the pathogenesis in the introduction as well. Perhaps including a few examples of the most common infections caused in humans as that would be something people would be interested in when finding this page.
