Inaccuracies and updates

Hi ASOS Talk page – I’m looking to get some factual inaccuracies and some updates to ASOS’ history changed on the page. As I mention on my profile – I am an ASOS employee and looking to ensure the page remains up to date. I have familiarised myself with the Wikipedia Conflict of Interest guidelines and will be abiding by these closely.

I wanted to point out some factual inaccuracies on the page as well as some key information on ASOS’ history which is currently missing. I have added links to examples of third-party coverage from trusted news sources which validate my points:

History

In July 2021, ASOS and Nordstrom announced their partnership, with Nordstrom taking a minority stake in the Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge and activewear HIIT brands. Nordstrom will stock these brands in department stores and allow ASOS shoppers to pick up and return products at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack stores. In September 2021 ASOS announced new 2030 ESG goals as part of its Fashion with Integrity (FWI) programme, this included plans to be carbon neutral in its direct operations by 2025 and achieve Net Zero across its value chain by 2030. In the history section, it notes that is not against retaining the iconic 214 Oxford Street Topshop/Topman store. Please can we highlight that in October 2021, Ikea announced it was taking over Topshop’s former flagship store.
