Participating Issue
Because of Russian invasion of Ukraine, Russia and Belarus were banned, and Ukrainian athletes could not attend due to the war in their country. 48 of the 119 medals / 18 of the 30 golds (Over 40% of total and 60% of the golds) from the previous period (2021 European U23 Wrestling Championship) went to these three countries. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Auecli (talk • contribs) 17:00, 13 March 2022 (UTC)
