Stuart Mellish (born 19 November 1969) is an English former footballer who played as a midfielder.[2] Started his Professional Career at Blackpool before former Leeds Utd Great Eddie Grey took him to Rochdale where he went on to win Young Player and Players Player of the year awards in Consecutive Seasons . As a 16 Yr old he was part of the Altrincham squad that famously beat Birmingham City in the 3rd of the Fa cup and later that season was involved in the FA Trophy Final victory over Runcorn at Wembley Stadium before Signing for Blackpool . He also Played for Southport , Morecambe , Witton Albion , Leek town , ( Wrexham , Bury as non contract player )
