Sinoennea is a genus of air-breathing land snails, terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusks in the family Diapheridae.[3][2]

Etymology

The name of the genus Sinoennea originates from Sino- (Chinese) + Ennea.

Distribution

The distribution of Sinoennea includes South of India, Indochina, China (South of Yangtze River[4] and Taiwan[5]), Malaysian Peninsula[6][4] in Malaysia[3] and Thailand,[4][3] Sumatra, Japan and South Korea.[3]

Description

The shell of Sinoennea has 6-7 whorls.[3] The whorls are swelling.[4]

Taxonomy

This genus used to belong to the families Streptaxidae[4] and Diapheridae, but the newest assigned it to the Family Enneinae.[3]
