Season 2

The first season of the French television mystery music game programme Show Me Your Voice premiered on M6 as a two-night pilot episode that occasionally aired on 22 April and 13 May 2021.[1][2]

Gameplay

Format

Under the original format, the contestants can eliminate mystery singers after each round, and ended with the last remaining mystery singer depending on the outcome of a duet performance by guest artist(s).[3]

At the end of the game, the contestants may either end the game, or risk it for a chance to win 20,000 by correctly guessing whether the last remaining mystery singer is good or bad.

Rounds

Each episode presents the guest artist and contestants with nine people whose identities and singing voices are kept concealed until they are eliminated to perform on the "stage of truth" or remain in the end to perform the final duet.

  1. Playback (French: Relecture)
Divided into three groups of three mystery singers, each of them have to perform a lip sync of their own. At the conclusion of performances, the contestants eliminate one mystery singer from each group.
  2. Exhibit (French: Pièce à conviction)
The guest artist and contestants are presented with a video package containing possible clues by one of the mystery singers of their choice.
  3. Acting (French: Performance)
The guest artist and contestants must describe one of the mystery singer's other talents, except "singing" itself. This may not be related to the "stage of truth", but depends on their identity.
  4. Concealed vocals (French: Cachez la voix)
The mystery singer lip syncs to the good singer's recording, then a bad singer's recording comes in the middle of the performance.
  5. Interview (French: L'interview)
The guest artist and contestants may ask questions to the remaining mystery singers. Good singers are required to give truthful responses, while the bad singers must lie.
