Sharifabad (Persian: شريف اباد)[a] was a village in, and the former capital of, Howmeh Rural District of the Central District of Abhar County, Zanjan province, Iran.[4]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 5,521 in 1,467 households.[2]
