Rugosusivitta orthogonia is a fossilised bilaterian flat bodied ribbon-shaped organism, found just above the Ediacaran-Cambrian line in Yunnan. It has been interpreted as a stem group to Platyhelminthes.[1] It shares similarities with present-day Cestodians.
