René Roord (born 14 May 1964) is a Dutch football manager and former footballer who manages FC Twente.
Early life
Roord was born in 1964 in the Netherlands. He started playing football at the age of five.[1]
Career
Roord managed Dutch women's side FC Twente. He helped the club win the league.[2]
Personal life
Roord is the father of Netherlands international Jill Roord. After retiring from professional football, he worked in the insurance industry.[3]
