Peter Woods (born March 5, 2005) is an American football defensive tackle for the Clemson Tigers.

Branch was raised in Alabama and attended Thompson High School, winning four state championships.[1] He was one of the top players in the 2023 college football recruiting class, ranked No. 9 nationally and as the top defensive tackle by ESPN.[2]

College Career

Woods enrolled at Clemson University in early 2023. In his first offseason with the team, Woods garnered praise from head coach Dabo Swinney and position coach Nick Eason, particularly for his performance in the Tigers spring game, with Swinney describing him as having "no weaknesses".[1][3][4] Prior to the start of the 2023 season, he was selected by 247Sports and ESPN as a true freshman preseason All-American.[5][6]
