Peter Chee

Peter Chee is a Malaysian executive coach, speaker, author, and President of ITD World, a coaching and talent development corporation.[1] He developed the Certified Chief Master Coach (CCMC) program[2] and the Certified Coaching and Mentoring Professional (CCMP) Program. Both are accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF).[3]

Biography

Peter was born and raised in Penang, Malaysia. In 2000, he earned an MSc in Training and HRM from the University of Leicester, UK, and in 2005, he received a doctoral degree from the University of South Australia. Dr. Peter Chee is a graduate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK, and holds a Certificate in Change Management and Performance Consulting from Pennsylvania State University.[4][5]

Career

In 2020, Dr. Peter Chee developed the Certified Chief Master Coach (CCMC) and Certified Coaching and Mentoring Professional (CCMP) programs, both accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF).[6]   These programs are listed on the ICF’s Education Search Services and the CCMP is recognized as one of the world’s top coaching development programs.[7][8]

To further coaching practices, he created several models, including the Coaching Mastery Model (CMM), Coaching for Breakthrough Success (CBS) Metta Model, The Coaching Principles (TCP), and Situational Coaching Model (SCM).[9][10]

In 2020, Peter Chee coached Guy Rowse, the former Siemens Power Operations, Inc CEO. This coaching triggered the creation of the "Seven Patterns of S-Curve to Exponential Growth Innovation" model. The model emphasizes overcoming adversity, leveraging fear, active experimentation, and achieving breakthrough moments.[11]  In September of the same year, he was a speaker at the Great Inside People Conference.[12]

In 2023, Global Gurus ranked Dr. Chee second in the World’s Top 30 Coaching Professionals.[13]

Peter Chee's clients include top executives of such brands as Intel, United Nations, Rolls Royce, Siemens, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Micron, First Solar, UOB Bank, LinkedIn, Adobe, Schneider, Mitsubishi, and Western Digital.[14]   

Social responsibility

Peter Chee has the 100 Million Leaders Mandate under the ITD Love the World initiative, which offers sponsored coaching programs.[15] He volunteers weekly through his Sunrise Eureka Beach Coaching (SEBC) sessions, aiding leaders worldwide.

Additionally, he launched the Let’s Coach Mobile App, developed with executive coach Dr. Marshall Goldsmith, to provide digital coaching that fosters leadership and talent development.[16][17] Dr. Chee also created the Let’s Coach Community on Facebook and LinkedIn, where members can access articles, videos, and podcasts to support their personal and professional growth.[18]
