Ollie's Pack is a Canadian animated comedy television series created by Pedro Eboli and Graham Peterson and directed by Adrian Thatcher. It was produced by Nelvana and aired on YTV in Canada. In the United States, it premiered on Nickelodeon on April 6, 2020. The final few episodes aired on Nicktoons from May 3 to 6, 2021.
On March 28, 2024, the series was removed from Paramount+ as part of a "strategic decision to focus on content with mass global appeal."[3]
Premise
Ollie and his backpack are doubled as a powerful portal allowing an array of monsters to travel from the monsterverse into Ollie’s world on Earth. Throughout the series, Ollie and his two best friends must protect the earth from the horrifying monsters that have escaped, while often utilizing the helpful monsters who assist with their everyday tween problems, like sneaking into a movie or winning their school’s Battle of the Bands contest. No matter the circumstances, Ollie’s thirst for adventure undoubtedly gets him into trouble that only he and his friends can resolve.
Characters
- Oliver "Ollie" Allen (voiced by James Hartnett)[4] is the thirteen-year-old protagonist of the show. He’s an ordinary, impulsive and creative kid. Sometimes he acts like a baby. He is sometimes quite sensitive and vulnerable. He’s also often acts like a drama king and is close friends with Cleo and Bernie. He was admired by Ashlor but fell for Ivy as revealed in "Crush it Ollie". Ollie is a male teen of medium height and slim build. He has bushy orange hair and light skin. He wears an orange-and-yellow T-shirt, gray jeans and red boots. He carries the monster pack. According to "The Chosening", Ollie's birthday is in the month of July. He bears a striking resemblance to Morty Smith from Rick and Morty and Kevin Murphy from F is for Family. His Brickleberry counterpart is Steve Williams, his Paradise PD counterpart is Kevin Crawford and his Farzar counterpart is Prince Fichael.
- Cleopatra "Cleo" Badette (voiced by Ana Sani)[4] is the deuteragonist of the show who is a brave and adventurous comic relief. She presumably likes Ollie as a close friend along with Bernie, but is admired by Beard Boy. Cleo says her name is short for Cleopatra in "Trio's a Crowd" where she hates Black Olives on Pizza, but not Anchovies or Pineapples. Two of her brothers have been named: Duncan Badette is appears to be her eldest and Carl Badette appears to be her youngest. Four others (younger than Duncan but older than Cleo presumably) are shown as being past class presidents. This means she has a total of at least six brothers: there are a total of at least seven children. Cleo is a young Black female with dark skin. She has frizzy purple hair (with shaved sides) tied in a ponytail. She has a white shirt with a pink stripe in the center, a blue hoodie, grey jeans, pink socks and yellow sneakers. Stated in "We're With the Band" she has never touched an instrument.
- Bernardo "Bernie" Alves (voiced by David Berni)[4] is the tritagonist of the show as a nervy and logical voice of reason. Bernie is an average boy with light skin and blond hair. He wears a green hoodie, blue jeans and brown shoes.

The series originated from a short titled Monster Pack, created as part of the annual Nickelodeon Animated Shorts Program.[4] On March 2, 2020, Nickelodeon announced that the series would premiere in April 2020.[5] Pedro Eboli and Graham Peterson created the series.[6]
The 26-episode action-comedy series was produced by Nelvana.[7] On March 30, 2020, it was announced that the series would premiere on April 6, 2020.[4]
