Oleksandr Valeriiovych Lytvynenko (Ukrainian: Олександр Валерійович Литвиненко; born 27 April 1972) is the current Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, member of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. From April 4, 2014, to August 13, 2019 — Deputy Secretary of the National Security Council. From August 13, 2019, to July 23, 2021 — director of the National Institute for Strategic Studies. From July 23, 2021, he was appointed the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service. From July 27, 2021, a member of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. From March 26, 2024 — Secretary of the National Security Council.[1]
