History

Lands acquired by the Akwasiase kinsmen

Sometime in the early 50s, a group of Akwasiase kinsmen moved from Mim to occupy portion of the Bitre virgin forest. They settled nearby a footpath-junction that led to the hunting ground of Op. Kramo Korkoor. Hence the footpath-Junction being called Kramo Korkoor Nkwanta/junction. Ohemaa Akua Afriyie was the first to build a mud house at an abandoned Mim Timber Company(MTC) loading station nearby the footpath junction. Others also followed thereby establishing the Kramo Korkor Nkwanta village which is now called Kwadwo Addaikrom.

Local Administration

The community is ruled by the Chief, the Queen mother, sub-Chiefs, Bitre Electoral Area Assemblyman and Unit committee executives.
