Karan Mahara (born 12 July 1972) is an Indian politician from Uttarakhand and a former two-term member of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly.[1][2][3]
He is president of Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress Committee.
He was appointed Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress president on 10 April 2022.
He held the post of Deputy Leader of opposition in Uttarakhand assembly from 2012 to 2017.[4]
He is known for his style of freely and boldly speaking on public issues.[citation needed]
