Kairali TV is an Indian Malayalam language general entertainment free to air television channel owned by Kairali TV Network. It is headquartered at Thiruvananthapuram.[1] It was launched on 17 August 2000.
History
The channel was launched in August 2000 by the then ruling party Communist Party of India (Marxist). Two Malayalam film actors were appointed in major positions—Mammootty as chairman and Mohanlal as director.[2]
