Josiah Akinloye (born May 9, 1994) is a Nigerian entrepreneur specializing in IoT, AI, and robotics. He is the founder and CEO of Mainlogix Technology.[1][2]

Early life and education

Born and raised in Nigeria, Akinloye developed an early interest in technology and problem-solving, leading him to a career in freelance web development and software engineering.[3]

Career

In 2019, Josiah Akinloye founded Mainlogix Technology, a company that specializes in IoT and smart home solutions, including an advanced gateway for third-party devices. By 2021, Mainlogix received funding from Canadian International Angel investors, freelance web development and a software engineering career which supported its expansion into Canada.

In January 2024, Mainlogix introduced SMART, an AI voice assistant designed for the African market. This tool includes features such as remote monitoring and home safety, aiming to improve accessibility for the visually impaired.

In 2020, Akinloye co-founded TimeXtention, a company focused on anti-aging technology. In 2022, TimeXtention released an AI tool to provide insights into cellular ageing and potential therapies.[4][5][6]
