Jason Daði Svanþórsson (transliterated as Jason Dadi Svanthórsson; born 31 December 1999) is an Icelandic footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for EFL League Two club Grimsby Town and the Iceland national team.
Club career
Afturelding
Jason grew up at Aftureldingu and has played his entire championship career there.
Jason Daði has played 59 league games with Aftureldingu and scored 21 goals. He also has 32 appearances in other competitions.
Breiðablik
He joined Breiðablik after the 2020 season.[1]
Grimsby Town
On 9 July 2024, he joined English League Two club Grimsby Town on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee, subject to the FA, EFL and international clearance and the player obtaining a work permit.[2]
International career
Jason made his international debut for Iceland on 9 June 2022 in a friendly match against San Marino.[3]
