Jaathi Pookkal (transl. Caste flowers) is a 1987 Indian Tamil-language film directed by A. P. Rathinam and produced by Lavanya Films. The film stars Shanavas and Nalini.[1]

Production
A different film titled Jathi Pookkal produced by Kuzhali Films began production in 1982 directed by Nagesh and starring Karthik, Menaka and a newcomer for the role of the female villain. The film was written by Subbu Arumugam and featured music by M. S. Viswanathan. The film also starred Thengai Srinivasan, Poornima and Junior Balaiah.[2] Shanavas, the son of Malayalam actor Prem Nazir, made his Tamil debut with this film.[3]
