Iriartella stenocarpa (common name: paxiubinha-de-macaco) is a species of palm found in northern South America.[1][2] The extract of the roots is sometimes used for medicinal purposes, such as treating hepatitis, malaria, and tuberculosis.[3] It can grow up to 20 meters.[4]
