This page is quite hard to find
This page is quite hard to find for a newcomer. It would be useful if 'Wiki Notifications' or 'Wikipedia Notifications' redirected either to here (or to 'Wikipedia:Notifications'), but I don't know how to do this. (Peter Ells (talk) 01:22, 27 February 2014 (UTC))
'Multi ping' not mentioned in documentation
It is possible to ping more than one user. for example { { ping|user1|user2 } } rather than { { ping user1 } } { { ping user2 } } . This doesn't appear to be in the documentation. Jonpatterns (talk) 13:35, 12 March 2014 (UTC)
A frequently asked question: Can someone else see my notifications?
Even if the answer is a strict "no, not in any way - only by logging in to your account can your notifications be viewed" adding the Q and the A (Can someone else see my notifications?) would be helpful. Thx CapnZapp (talk) 12:13, 28 November 2017 (UTC)
Searching old notifications?
Greetings and felicitations. I'm looking for an (very) old notification, one for which I know the a couple of details. Is there a way to search all of my notifications at once? —DocWatson42 (talk) 10:40, 4 September 2018 (UTC)
- @DocWatson42: Hi. No, it is not possible to search through our old notifications online. The only possibility would be if you'd had them all sent to you via email. Sorry about that. - @Quiddity (WMF): Thank you for your response. :-) It's not something I do regularly, so a feature request is, if it's non-trivial, not warranted. Also, I checked my E-mail archive, and the sort of notification I am looking for is not included (an alert). However, if it wouldn't be too much trouble to file a feature-request for it, it would be nice if the number of notifications on a user's Notifications page was adjustable in the same was as on Revision history pages.
