They are WRONG! It's a fricative or approximant in all the dialects which show a reflex. Look especially at reports on Amdo dialects. Matisoff made a mistake thinking it was a stop, and then confused it with the last letter in the alphabet ( 'a ), which IS a stop. Jakob37 (talk) 23:19, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tildes
I'm not a fan of representations in the table like this: [ʈ~ʈʂ]. We should either pick one and go with it or clarify the context of the distribution if the tilde represents allophony — Ƶ§œš¹[ãːɱ ˈfɹ̠ˤʷɪ̃ə̃nlɪ] 13:40, 10 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
