Biography
Frank Dangeard, born February 25, 1958, in Ottawa, is a graduate of HEC Paris, Sciences Po, and the Harvard Law School.[2]
Frank Dangeard was a lawyer in the United States and in London from 1986 to 1989. Then he was managing director of the S.G. Warburg bank, and was appointed chairman of the board of SBC Warburg France in 1995.[3]
He joined the Thomson multimedia group in 1997.[4]
He served as Deputy General Manager of France Telecom from September 2002 to September 2004.[5]
From September 2004 to February 2008, he was chairman and CEO of Thomson. He leaves Thomson benefiting from a golden parachute of 2.28 million euros.[6]
He is Managing Partner of Harcourt, and director of Crédit Agricole-CIB (Crédit Agricole Group), Moser Baer (India), Sonaecom (Portugal), Symantec (United States) and Telenor (Norway). He is Chairman of Goldbridge Capital Partners (United Kingdom) and Chairman of the Strategic Council of PwC (France).[7]
He published a book in 2011, "La Décision de crise dans l'entreprise", in which he presents twelve stories of governance in times of crisis.
