Stewart began martial arts training in karate when she was five years old.[8] She began competing at age six, becoming a 2002 and 2003 World Champion in Martial Arts, and was inducted into the Black Belt Junior Hall of Fame in 2003.[8] She regularly worked with her father, stunt coordinator Nils Allen Stewart, on his projects, learning how to rig and work fire stunts.[9]
Stewart played the role of Izzie Taylor in the last three seasons of Netflix show Atypical, from 2017 to 2021.[10]
In 2022, Stewart joined the cast of Umma (2022 film) playing Sandra Oh's daughter Chris.[11] That same year it was announced that Stewart would act and produce in the feature film Wake from directors Thom Arizmendi and Austin Parks Stewart.[12] It will release in 2024 via Mongrel Media.[13]
