Biography
Soultana-Maria Valamoti is a professor at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Valamoti works in the department of Archaeology and History of Ancient and Byzantine Art and Civilisation.[1]
Valamoti completed her undergraduate studies in Archaeology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1987 and then went on to complete a Master of Science in 1989 as well as a PhD in 2001 at the University of Sheffield under the supervision of Professor Glynis Jones.[1]
Valamoti has since lectured at the University of Sheffield, the University of Nottingham, the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the University of Sorbonne and the University of Berkeley.[1]
