Ullas Chemban (born October 31, 1987) is an Indian director, scriptwriter and executive producer, who works mainly in the Malayalam Film Industry. His debut movie is Anchakkallakokkan[1] released in 2024, produced by Chembosky Motion Pictures, starring Chemban Vinod Jose and Lukman Avaran in lead roles.

Biography

Ullas Chemban was born in Angamaly, Ernakulam. He is the younger brother of renowned actor, producer and scriptwriter Chemban Vinod Jose. He graduated from Garden City University, Bangalore and did his masters in International Business from Federation University, Australia.

Career

Ullas Chemban started his movie career as executive producer and actor in a malayalam movie named Angamaly Diaries[2], which is directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery and written by Chemban Vinod Jose. He wrote and directed his first short film named Pambichi[3] in 2019 and released in 2022, which was acclaimed several awards and critical review for its visualization, music and sound design. His other movie as a project designer and actor in Kirkkan[4], starring Salim Kumar and directed by Josh. He is a director who gives importance to the technicality of movie making in the same way as story line.
