107 runs off 160 balls. 7 of them are four. Farzana Haque is now the owner of the first ODI century for the country in women's cricket. Gaibandha's cricket coach Bablu Khan is also a part of Farzana's century against India at Dhaka's Mirpur Stadium on July 22. It is in his hands that Farzana Haque is in control of cricket. The right-handed opening batsman is not alone, two other cricketers in the national women's team are his students. Shahabul Shaheen and Sajeeb Mia came to know the two names while listening to the story of coach Bablu Khan's 22 yard illusion.

After returning from the market, he put the cow on the bed. It came like a dream. Meanwhile, a trainee's brother called, 'Sir, are you hearing anything?'

What will you hear Bablu Khan! He spent the whole day on the field with future cricketers. And now you are at home. This field and home is also his life. Nothing happened to any of the students. He got a little scared after hearing the question, 'No, no, what happened?'

After listening to Bablu Khan's reply, Abhay's smile was no longer a joke from the other side of the phone, 'Your pinky (Farzana Haque) has scored a century.'

Someone is so presumptuous with such a happy news. Then I remembered the match between Bangladesh and India. Watched the game even before going to the market. It hurts when your student plays badly, and even when the team loses, it hurts, so after a while, you don't watch the game anymore. Realized that Virat had been missed, his heart also started to feel bad. But in a moment it passes. 'Hundred runs as Bangladesh's first woman cricketer in ODI cricket, what a great record! I was still happy when my student (Sharmin Akhtar) Supta scored a century in the World Cup Qualifier. If the students do well, the coach likes it. There is also pride.' Bablu Khan was saying with a smile to the reporter on July 26.

Like Farzana Haque, wicketkeeper Nuzhat Tasnia and batsman Sharmin Akhtar of the national women's cricket team are also in the hands of Bablu Khan. Three other recruits like them are currently playing in the U-19 women's team.

What happened to Farzana after the century? Bablu said, talk is done. He went to Dhaka from Gaibandha two days before Eid. He also sent me a gift for Eid. It has been talked about even after the century.

Gaibandha is the home of Bablu Khans. Growing up in a joint family. Interest in sports since childhood. He played football a lot. And friends used to play cricket. Bablu Khan was not good at cricket. He had to digest the comments of his close friends. Bablu once entered the cricket field. By practicing by yourself, you also create a good position. Also played at divisional level in school. Used to pace the ball. Just when the dream of becoming a big cricketer was taking flight, one day he suddenly got injured. Bablu Khan said, "I got addicted to cricket then. Pressure from family to study. But I decided that people live with many things, I will stay with cricket. Bablu Khan started coaching from 2000. In the beginning, he used to call the boys and girls from home. Still there were no interested female players. With great difficulty, he brought seven to eight girls and started training them in cricket. Later this number reached 12. Bablu Khan is currently the Director and Coach of Gaibandhar Cricket Coaching Centre.

I want to know the story of how Farzana Haque came to his coaching. He returned in 2005. Smriti said that an uncle of Farzana Haque is her friend. He is the one who asked Farzana Haque to take her two sisters for coaching. Bablu Khan explained to Farzanad's father. If he agreed, he brought him to his coaching. Bablu Khan saw that Farzana was better at batting than bowling. This is how Farzana is good at batting.

Gaibandha was still under Rajshahi division. Bablu Khan went to Rajshahi Terkhada Stadium with a 12-member women's cricket team to participate in the divisional qualifiers. Among the 12 people, Farzana Haque and another trainee Farhana survived. They came to Dhaka to play National Cricket League for Rajshahi Division.

Thus Bablu Khan's trainees started participating in cricket tournaments of different levels. At that time two cricket coaches from Dhaka went to Gaibandha. They suggested to admit girls in Bangladesh Sports Education Institution (BKSP). In 2008, Bablu Khan brought four female students to BKSP in Dhaka to take the admission test. Among them, Farzana Haque, Nuzhat Tasnia and Sharmin Akhtar got admission in seventh grade. Never forget that happy day Bablu Khan.

After admission to BKSP, Bablu Khan's trainees started developing anew. One by one they were named in the national team. They also signed their achievements there. Be proud of the success of girls sitting in Gaibandha Bablu Khan.

Bablu Khan has trained more than half a hundred children as a coach so far. About 30 of them are playing for various clubs including the national team. Because of the success of these trainees, Bablu Khan still remains in the cricket field. But this coach was upset about how long he can survive due to financial constraints, 'There are three cricket coaches in Gaibandha. Apart from the district coach, the Bangladesh Cricket Board does not provide any facilities to the other two. Even if there is little support from the district sports organization, it is not enough. It is hard to run the family. Meanwhile, the child is growing up, he has a future, I don't know when I will be forced to give up coaching.
