Shahram Pourassad, (born on August 16, 1968, in Tehran) is an Iranian artist and actor. He began his professional activities in acting, directing, music, photography, and painting from a young age.

He learned to play the violin in classical and Iranian styles under masters such as Ali Tajvidi, Farid Farjad, and Davood Ganjei. Pourassad collaborated with the Tehran Symphony Orchestra for many years after studying opera singing under Hossein Sarshar and Gorgen Mousisian.
His father, a modern scientific photography instructor in Iran, motivated him to complete specialized photography courses in Iran and Germany, leading to photography exhibitions in the 1980s.
After various artistic experiences, he went to Germany to further his knowledge in music, photography, cinema, and theater. Upon returning to Iran, he continued his studies in acting, directing, and architectural engineering, obtaining a bachelor's degree from the University of Art and Architecture in Tehran.
While studying at the university, he played a role in his first film, "The Last Identification," in 1992. During his university years, he studied with instructors such as Hamid Samandarian, Rokneddin Khosravi, Bahram Beyzai, Mahmoud Dolatabadi, Farhad Nazerzadeh Kermani, and Ahmad Damoud.
In addition to his acting career in cinema, television, and theater, he worked as a voice actor in radio. One of his international achievements is the film "Rooster's Paper," which won the Peace Prize at the Chicago Festival in 2014.
Shahram Pourassad also teaches in various artistic fields and currently works as an architect.
