Pūrva Phalgunī (Devanagari:पूर्व फालगुनी), also known as Pooram in Tamil and Malayalam (Tamil: பூரம், Malayalam: പൂരം), the eleventh nakshatra in Hindu astronomy, means 'the fertile one'. Purva Phalguni and Uttara Phalguni are twin nakshatras. Bhaga (God of Love and Luck) is the deity of Purva Phalguni nakshatra. The symbol of this nakshatra is a 'swinging hammock'.
