Mohamed Ishfan (born 10 October 2000) is a Maldivian actor.

Early life and career

Before pursuing a career in acting, Ishfan became an active TikTok user, which enabled him to showcase his talent as a performer.[1] In 2019, he starred alongside Jamsheedha Jamsheed in the music video "Beynun" which was directed by Azhan. While this song received a lukewarm response from the audience, Ishfan's second single, titled "Loabivaathy", featuring Mariyam Shifa, became a chartbuster upon its release.[1]

In 2021, Ishfan made his acting debut as a tormented young man in Ali Seezan-directed segment "Naama" which was part of the anthology series Hatharu Manzaru.[2] Upon release, the series met with positive reviews from critics, with particular praise for its portrayal of the horror genre..[3] Following his debut, he collaborated with Azhan Ibrahim for his crime thriller web series Mirai which revolves around a happy family that is torn apart by the untimely death of their only child, and their journey for justice.[4] The series, along with his performance as Tony, an unapologetic boyfriend who is trapped in a rape case gets overwhelming response from the critics.[5]
