Matthew Alan "Matt" Beat,[2] commonly known by his YouTube channel name Mr. Beat, is an American YouTuber and social studies teacher. Beat's videos primarily cover American politics and history. Beat also maintains a secondary channel, The Beat Goes On, discussing musical topics, for instance Pink Floyd.[3]
Personal life
Beat currently resides in Lawrence, Kansas, and has left his original teaching profession to pursue a YouTube career.[4]
