Lettters is the music of Minneapolis, MN based multi-instrumentalist Robert Martin [1]. Lettters' music combines elements of indie rock, neo-psychedelia, and power pop. After a series of increasingly eclectic solo singer-songwriter projects, Robert Martin landed on the Lettters moniker and released five instrumental EPS between 2009-2015, each of which incorporated electronic elements blended with live instrumentation.[2]
In 2019 Lettters released its first official album, "Nothing Could Ever Happen," establishing the psych/pop hybrid sound that would define its sound moving forward. During the global pandemic Lettters released a mixtape of songs addressing Covid-19 called "Distancing." In 2022, "Brightsided" became the official followup to Lettters' debut and was released on limited edition vinyl by Rocketboy Records. Lettters followed this up with 2023's "..." (also referred to as "ellipses").[3]
Robert Martin previously played with Reclinerland [4][5], This is a Process of a Still Life [6], and many other musical projects.
