  • Comment: Of the six sources cited, #1 is clearly not independent; #2, 5 and 6 are mainly tournament reporting, with limited coverage of the draft subject (esp. #6 barely at all); #3 and 4 are primary, and also do not provide any meaningful coverage of the subject. This still does not add up to notability per WP:GNG. DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:52, 22 July 2024 (UTC)

Kalin Stefanov, full name Kalin-Feliks Stefanov (born 29 January 2004, Sofia),[1] is a professional backgammon player. He is the runner-up of the WBIF World Youth championship 2023, losing to Japanese Yuta Takimiya in the final.[2]

Stefanov was born and grew up in the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia. In January 2023, aged 18, he moved residence to Stuttgart in the german province of Baden-Württemberg.[1] Apart from backgammon, he is an amateur pool player and a member of BC Stuttgart 1891, the oldest pool-billiards club in Germany.[3][4] His major international backgammon successes include the title of the 18th edition of the Geneva Open, where in May 2024 after 9 wins and 2 losses he defeated the runner-up of the previous edition, Denis Etienne, in the final.[2][5][1] Commonly known by the nickname "The Kalinator", he is standing top of the yearly ranking of the Ulm Open backgammon series, which provides qualification for the German Backgammon Championship.
