James Frank Holt (October 22, 1910 – October 30, 1983) was a justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court from 1963 to 1966, and from 1969 to 1983.[1]

Born in Harrison, Arkansas.[2]

Holt graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law. He was elected to be the Prosecuting Attorney for the Sixth Judicial Circuit in 1954. In 1961, Holt was elected to be Attorney General. He resigned a year later when he was elected to be an Associate Justice. Holt served as an Associate Justice from 1963 until 1966 and again from 1969 until his death.[2]
