Gulf Park College for Women was a private, for-profit school in Gulfport, Mississippi from 1921 to 1971.[1] The school, which offered four years of high school curriculum and two years of college classes, was one of the first junior colleges in Mississippi and one of the earliest junior colleges in the country.[2]

For 50 years the school housed and educated between 250 and 375 women. In 1971 Gulf Park College was sold to the state of Mississippi and in 1972 it reopened as the University of Southern Mississippi’s Gulf Park campus.[3]
