Fr Alfred was born in the year 1942 in a family of aristocrats in Goa, the then colony of the Portuguese Empire. Fr. spent majority of his life in the state of Maharashtra due to his obligations to the church moreover, before taking up to be a priest, fr.alfred was a resident of Bombay where his father worked, back home in Goa fr. had an immensely large family something very common during those days.
