Delhi Public School, Dooars (DPS Dooars or DPS Ethelbari) is a school located in Ethelbari Tea Garden which comes under Alipurduar District of West Bengal, India.The Motto of the school is "Service Before Self". It is one of the best CBSE School in Dooars region also it is the only DPS school in the country located in a remote area of Ethelbari Tea Garden.The nearest City from the School is Birpara. DPS Dooars offers academic session from students of Kindergarten to Senior Secondary Level i.e till students of class XII.[1]

History
Delhi Public School, Dooars, was established in 2018 by the Dooars Gyan Jyoti Foundation under the leadership of Mr. Kirtan Chettri who is the Pro Vice Chairman of the School. The school was opened with the intention of providing the children of the place and nearby areas with the best faculty and facilities with the branch of Delhi Public School. Initially, the school was only opened till Class VI in 2018 but now the school is till Class XII i.e till Senior Secondary Level. It is also one of the Best CBSE Schools in Dooars region after Delhi Public School, Siliguri. The School has a International size Football Ground and other extra co - curricular activities for Students. The School also contains Swimming Pool, Basketball Court, Volleyball Court and Badminton Court.[2]
Academics
Delhi Public School, Dooars is affiliated with the Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE).The number of students, i.e. 35 in pre-primary and approximately 40 in higher classes, grants plenty of scope for individual attention to the students. Thus the teachers can nurture each student’s emotional, behavioral and academic needs. With provision for Nursery and KG schooling, DPS Dooars offers the 10+2 years of schooling in affiliation with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which is the largest School Education Board in the country for primary, secondary and higher secondary education. The school also comes with well equipped Separate Science labs which includes Biology Lab, Chemistry Lab and Physics Lab for the betterment of the students. Also, the School has a International size Football Ground and other extra co - curricular activities for Students. The School also contains Swimming Pool, Basketball Court, Volleyball Court and Badminton Court for overall development of the children.[3]
Location
The school is in a unique location, students come in here from all the neighboring villages and small towns. It is located in a tribal belt of North Bengal giving modern academic and infrastructure facilities to the children in a green zone admist abundant natural surroundings. It is surrounded with forests and tea gardens making the school site very enchanting and pleasantly pollution free. All these factors make this school one of the best school in the area.[4]
