Atticus Orsborn (born January 21, 1994) is an English actor, director, and educator known for his contributions to theater and film. He has trained actors at various prestigious institutions in both the UK and the US.
Early Life and Education
Atticus Orsborn was born on January 21, 1994, at the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham, England. He attended Rushcliffe School. Orsborn later trained as an actor at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York under full scholarship, and then pursued an MA in Voice Studies: Teaching and Coaching at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
Career
Orsborn has taught acting at several renowned institutions, including the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA), Rose Bruford College, and Shakespeare's Globe in the UK[1]. In the US, he has been involved with Pace University, the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, NYU Tisch's Playwrights Horizons Theater School, and Fordham University[2]. When not in academia he work as a theater and film maker [3] [4] [5].
Awards and Recognition
Orsborn's debut feature film, The Three Little Proletariat Pigs[6], which he wrote and directed, won the 2024 World London Film Festival. The film has been described as "a genuinely hilarious mockumentary" by UK Film Review [7] and has received all round positive reviews [8] although it is yet to be released.
