Alexander Panos (born 1996)[1] is an American electronic producer, songwriter and music software developer.
Biography
Panos started making music in the late 2000s on the internet website Newgrounds. Through his online contacts he befriended one of the owners of the record label Upscale Recordings, which assisted in the promotion of his debut album, Nascent.[1]
Panos studied music composition and sound design in university.[1]
After listening to 22, A Million in 2016 and being fascinated with the harmonizer employed on songs such as "715 - CRΣΣKS" Panos started work on his own music software. After developing a plugin for multiple years, it ended up as one of the main instruments on his debut album.[1]
Influences
In an interview with Firebird Magazine, Panos names the 2016 album 22, A Million by Bon Iver as a major influence on his musical style and especially Nascent. [1]
