Al-Ameed Sports Marketing is a sports marketing and talent management company based in Egypt.[1] Ahmed Motamed, Former Egyptian football player and international referee, founded the company in 2020 and acts as its chief executive.
History
Since the beginning of 2015, Ahmed Motamed has worked as an agent for football players and coaches for the Egyptian clubs Al-Ahly Club, Zamalek Club, Arab Contractors Club, Enppi Club, and the Second Division League clubs Tersana , Olympic Club, Suez Club, and Nogoom FC.[2][3]
He established Al-Ameed Sports Marketing Company in 2020, which works as an agency for players and coaches in football and other team and individual sports, and also for managing sports talents.[4][5] It also works in sponsoring football clubs and youth centers and establishing sports camps for Egyptian and foreign clubs and trading in tools, sports equipment and sports clothing.
During the previous short period[when?], Al-Ameed Sports Marketing Company established camps in Egypt for the Saudi clubs Al-Sahel SC,[6] Al-Arabi SC, Al Fateh SC, and Al-Kawkab FC.
Al-Ameed Sports Marketing Company also marketed players and coaches in many[which?] Saudi Arabia clubs.[citation needed]
Al-Ameed Sports Marketing Company also sponsored the football team at the Soul Youth Center, one of the third division league teams in the Egyptian League, and was able to advance them from the fourth division league to the third division league for the first time in the team's history. It also remained in the third division league for two consecutive seasons.[7]
Al-Ameed Sports Marketing Company also marketed the players in the teams it sponsors to the largest Egyptian clubs that are currently playing in the Second Division League.[8]
Al-Ameed Sports Marketing Company also moved to work in sports media, as it sponsors television programs such as the Kora Baladna program and Al-Shams Stadium program on Al-Shams channel.[citation needed]
