Conner Harrell (born September 9, 2004) is an American football quarterback for the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Early life and high school
Harrell was born on September 9, 2004, in Alabaster, Alabama.[1] Harrell attended Thompson High School in Alabaster. Rated a three-star prospect, Harrell committed to play college football at North Carolina.[2][3]
College career
2022
Harrell saw limited action and redshirted his true freshman year in 2022.
2023
In 2023, Harrell appeared in five games and made his first collegiate start on December 27, 2023, against West Virginia at Duke's Mayo Bowl in the 10–30 loss.[4][5][6]
2024
Entering the 2024 season, with Drake Maye entering the NFL, Harrell will compete with Max Johnson for the Tar Heel starting quarterback job in 2024.[7]
