Duplicative

The category, Category:American Civil War regiments by state, created a few minutes ago is the same thing as, Category:Union Army regiments. With one exception - it lists the southern states as well.

User user:THB also went through and changed many of the individual state links. I'm going to go revert those changes.evrik 18:21, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • You can have regiments by states and also regiments by Confederate and Union. That's what's so nice about categories. (unsigned)

      • User:THB was on the right track at least, seeing how poorly organized the Civil War category is. Union state regiments, for example, do not need to be in both the main "Civil War" category AND the "Union Army" category. It just clogs up the main category, making it harder to scan. --Kevin
