Primary name

This page should be moved to Category:People educated at Westminster School. All other pages about this school omit the ", London" classifier, and there were several comments about this on the discussion regarding moving this article form "Category:Old Westminsters". ed g2stalk 13:24, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

And the several comments were addressed in the nomination, the discussion and the close. But by all means start another cfd (which is the way to move, ie rename, a category). Oculi (talk) 13:58, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Addressed? It was abruptly closed by an involved admin and with a passing comment claiming something without citing support in data or policy. I'm confused - your use of that word is not concordant with mine, or existing community norms. :-)

Ambiguous category names do not generally survive cfd, regardless of the article name. (This point is made by the nom, the closer and myself in the cfd, thus addressing the addition of the dab 'London'.) Oculi (talk) 18:33, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
So is this consensus of those who turn up (i.e., those who hang out on the Category meta-pages), or agreed policy that's documented policy? Because it's news to me. :-)
