Better idea. Stop spamming talk pages with these notices and remove the category altogether. If anyone follows a dead link, they can fix it on the page itself and no one—including the bot maker—is going through these randomly by hand and editing the template to do anything else. — LlywelynII 02:44, 27 September 2016 (UTC)
- Indeed, the category is so huge (285 thousand articles) and the work on clearing it so tedious that it can't be cleared, realistically. GregorB (talk) 17:58, 14 November 2016 (UTC)
