- The British War Office (1684−1964) — a defunct government department of the United Kingdom, formerly responsible for the administration of the British Army.
- Between 1906 and its abolition in 1964, it was headquartered in "Old" War Office Building, a large Edwardian Baroque Revival style structure at the junction of Horse Guards Avenue and Whitehall in the City of Westminster, central London.
