This category is for players who represented the New Zealand cricket team in first-class matches before January 1930, when New Zealand began playing Test cricket. Between February 1894 and March 1928, New Zealand played 61 first-class matches against teams from Australia and the United Kingdom – 24 matches in New Zealand, 11 in Australia and 26 in the UK.[1]
